From the time he was an initiate, Obi-Wan's life was difficult. Now, as a Master, it's even worse. Is there more to it than just fate and the Force? I own the rest. He couldn't even remember what it felt like to be anything but totally and completely drained.
The Force, though a powerful ally, could not work miracles. Obi-Wan knew that the long nights of not sleeping, and the endless days of secrecy and stealth and hardship were aging him prematurely, but there was nothing he could do about it. He had to get by as he always had, by living day to day, or in the "here and now" as his old Master used to say.
As he walked through the Jedi temple, the other Jedi seemed to avoid him, either giving sympathetic glances, or simply appearing not to notice him. He knew that he looked bad, and that anyone even slightly Force sensitive could feel the exhaustion radiating off of him, but no one even suspected why he was so tired.
Well almost no one. Mostly, the Jedi passing him in the halls attributed it to his new Padawan. To be knighted and given a Padawan at such a young age was both a privilege and a trial.
And though that was not the excuse for his bedraggled state, he was willing to let the halls of the Jedi temple resound with such speculation and rumors. Entering his quarters, he wanted only to fall into a deep and dreamless sleep, but first he needed to see to his Padawan. Anakin, though becoming more accustomed to having free time and freedom, for that matter still had a bad habit of getting into trouble if he spent too much time unsupervised.
Obi-Wan would never begrudge having such a curious and active Padawan, but he sometimes wished that he could have one just a little more sedate. How was the meeting on Malastare? And how have your days been going since I've been away?
Master Bant has been helping me to work on my healing abilities. She thinks that I may have great potential in it. After the debacle with the 'borrowed' transport last time you left, I decided it would be better if maybe I just spent some time meditating and working on my katas and lessons, rather than joy-riding in Master Windu's skimmer. It would be nice to return from a round of meetings, without having to prepare to face down the firing squad in place for my wayward apprentice," Obi-Wan smiled fondly at his apprentice, before moving on towards the 'fresher.
Is there anything else I need to know about, or we need to talk about before I retire? There isn't anything that can't wait until morning. Have a good night's rest," Anakin called to the retreating form of his Master. He was beginning to worry about his Master. He practically radiated with his connection to the Force. Anakin had not had the chance to meet many Force-users in his existence as a slave, but he doubted that anyone could shine more brightly than Obi-Wan had.
It seemed only a few short days later, when that light had dimmed noticeably, and it had continued to fade out as the weeks, than months, and finally years had passed. Nowadays, Obi-Wan more often than not had a dull glow surrounding him that was even further suppressed by the ever-present weight that seemed to rest on his shoulders. Anakin was pretty sure that the majority of that weight had to do with him, and he truly did try to make life for his Master easier.
It was just that it was so hard to behave in the stuffy temple with all of the stuffy Masters, and stuffy Padawans, and stuffy initiates, and stuffy. He knew that his Master tried to make things more interesting for him, by choosing instructors that had more hands-on lessons and scheduling training trips to the more exciting and exotic temples that the Jedi held around the galaxy, but his Master was gone so often and Anakin was forced to spend so much time alone that it was hard to remain the stoic Jedi Padawan that was expected of him.
In fact, it seemed that his Master was almost never around anymore. When Anakin had first returned to Coruscant with his new Master, he had expected to spend a lot of time with Obi-Wan. Instead he was sent straight to initiate training the instant he stepped off the transport.
He knew that it wasn't his Master's doing, the anguished look on Obi-Wan's face as he watched Anakin leaving was more than enough to tell him that.Still Conscious.
Which is more than what he could usually say for most of the missions he was sent on by the Council. He knew they won the battle with few casualties. He had watched Obi-Wan sheath his lightsaber and Ahsoka raise her fist in triumph. He saw his troops blow the last Separatist Tank. Then somehow, Anakin was on the ground. He didn't know how he got there. Obi-Wan hovered over him like a sun, refusing to let him get up. His hands held Anakin's head, one tight grip over each ear.
Numb, tired, and frustrated that he wasn't allowed to check on his men, he huffed out half-hearted answers to Obi-Wan's stream of questions.
This is no time to be stubborn," Obi-Wan scolded, but while his voice was stern, his eyes betrayed his emotions. He was terrified.
Ahsoka hovered over him as well, calling over med clones and a stretcher. Kix and Coric, two clones that Anakin felt he saw far too often, appeared in his line of sight. Both wore grim expressions. Anakin reviewed the battle in his mind once more: he was standing at the celebration of the droid's retreat, but was on the ground when the transport ships appeared. The victory, the tank, on the ground. Obi-Wan bracing his head. General Skywalker, we need you to not. We've got professionals coming to help.
I'm still conscious, right? I'm just a bit tired, that's all," Anakin argued. How could he not know that he was injured? Surely, his body would relay the message to his brain that he was in pain. It always did. Don't chew your nails," Anakin said, for the first time turning his head to face her.
The professionals landed soon after Anakin was slowly moved onto the stretcher. Even with using the force, Obi-Wan could not painlessly move Anakin. Every movement, every twitch he made that involved his spine, made lightning-hot pain lace through his body. He was panting hard, trying to keep the burning, pinching sensation to himself. Ahsoka shouldn't see him like this. Ahsoka needed to see him be strong.Sketchware wiki
Please consider turning it on! Remember Me. A year-old Obi-wan appears in a universe much like his own - except that the Jedi are in exile and the Republic is gone, and with no memory of how he got there the boy desperately tries to get accustomed to life under the Empire's evil clutches. Duchess Satine Kryze and Obi-Wan Kenobi see the words "attachment" and "crusade" in very different lights.
But love has many ways to bridge souls, and on her last night on Coruscant, both find some peace and hope. Basically, Anakin has a small heart attack any time his master is even slightly injured.
And Ahsoka Tano considers how her master cares so incredibly deeply, and she forgets that Obi-Wan has his own way of caring. Once upon a time they were a family, once upon a time they laughed and they loved and they lived. Once upon a time they were unstoppable. How does one deal with the loss of a loved one, the loss of your family. How does one deal with a betrayal of your other half. Cody usually kept them hidden and while others proudly displayed their soulmarks, he did everything he could to pretend that they didn't exist.
A follow up to antheiasilva's amazing work 'The Wrong Jedi'. Plo Koon encounters an angry Skywalker in the halls of the Temple. But where is Kenobi to chase him down? He should be ready to let Cody go. They are at war, they are both soldiers, and death is the only constant in the shitshow that is this conflict.
But not this, not cold, cost-cutting injustice. What Obi-Wan was doing before the ending of Keeping safe. After being captured and experimented on, Anakin must learn to deal with a growing problem with the help of his Master.
Qui-Gon had sensed the echoes of Dooku in the Force, but never did he think his Fallen, former Master could be capable of. Anakin sprawled in a biobed, an amputee, deep within a healing trance, unreachable, for days.
Please consider turning it on! Remember Me. The fight against the Sith took almost everything from him and something in the Force seems wrong and tilted. Despite a suspicious and reluctant Jedi Council, Obi-Wan is determined to keep his promise. But the price may be too high to pay, and cost him everything. A deadly and highly contagious virus which specifically targets Midi-chlorians has been secretly created by unknown forces.
If this virus is used as a weapon in the Clone War it could be disastrous for the Jedi Order. Siri Tachi and Obi-Wan Kenobi have unknowingly been infected with the virus, and now both are under strict quarantine orders. And when they see their friend grieving the loss of his Master, dealing with the fame associated with killing a Sith while also taking on a Padawan the Chosen One no less they step in to help because they realize he is in WAY over his head.
Qui-Gon comes to his rescue but remains emotionally distant. Stricken with grief and struggling with his newfound blindness, his former master's rejection, and his own, painful self-loathing, Obi-Wan runs away.
Horrified by Obi-Wan's disappearance, Qui-Gon realizes how mistaken he was to abandon Obi-Wan and searches for him, determined to win back his trust and right his wrong. The men and their generals are off to Kiros at the request of the Council, and must deal with the fallout.Samsung galaxy a10e youtube
Obi-Wan, not chosen as a Padawan, is sent to Bandomeer. Xanatos, discovering the disenchanted ex-Initiate, kidnaps and tortures him, trying to turn him to the Dark side.
But the Force has other plans. My take on how Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan could have met. Anakin thinks that the only reason why Obi-Wan took him as a Padawan was because of a promise made to Qui-Gon.Zyxel wordlist
But little does he know of the sacrifices that Obi-Wan went through to keep him. Of his participation of an ancient Jedi tradition where Master and Knights fight for a right to train a Padawan. Overhearing the conversation, Yoda decides to set his Great-Great-Great Padawan straight of what exactly went on during his apprenticeship. Quinlan was beside himself. Grievous immediately gestured for the droid to stop. The massive android grasped the young Jedi firmly by the hair and wrenched his head back.
When he's at his worst, Obi-Wan would rather be alone than let anyone see him vulnerable - most of all, Anakin. But when a migraine leaves him helpless, Obi-Wan decides that maybe being alone isn't the answer.
Maybe it's alright to just let himself be loved. If anything, more tension crept into his already tight shoulders. Obi Wan needs a massage, but doesn't want one. Luckily, Qui Gon's a master at dealing with stubborn gits. As far as the artifacts went, none of them seemed to be cursed or brought him ill will.
Sure, he was told they were or might be, but that didn't scare him. Nothing could scare Roman Sionis. Little did he know that one of them might as well be cursed. It brings him ill will. It brings him to a galaxy far, far away. Whatever the weather, we will make it through together. A series of oneshots based around Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon and the forces of nature. I've merely borrowed the characters to tell a small tale of "in between". All toys will be returned to their rightful place in the toy box at the conclusion of playtime. All scrapes and bruises are the fault of the previous owner…. Also, this story hasn't had the nurturing I usually give my stories. I've been distracted of late with a new career direction. But I know folks have been clamoring for a new story.
Hopefully this one can stand enough on its own as a decent narrative that will bring interesting character interaction and exhilarating adventure. So my stories will evolve around that. Hopefully I've treated both characters with the respect they are due. I know it's been a long time between stories, but there is no helping that.
I don't post stories unless they are complete, aside from minor tweaking. Also, my new career takes precedent over all fan writing, but fear not since it still includes being a published author.
Look for my new steampunk alternate history novel "Vampire Empire: The Greyfriar" on bookshelves soon under the name Clay and Susan Griffith. The link at the author's page will tell you all about it.
Please check it out! No plan, no matter how well designed, ever survives the first shot. Large tapestries hung over an elaborate throne to accent the court of Prince Illidar. The crown prince sat upon it flanked by a number of armed guards. Two Jedi Knights walked with her down the long aisle toward the Prince, whose sharp dark eyes darted between the two tall men recognizing them for what they were.Rain pattered against the large window that span all the way around the council chamber.
As Qui-Gon Jinn told the council about their last mission on Jarica his Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi simply watched the raindrops glide down the transparisteel. The words Qui-Gon was saying simply became a noise in the background as Obi-Wan let his mind drift. He knew that he shouldn't have but he couldn't stop himself. His mind was trying to figure something out and he didn't even know what.
He had the strangest feeling he was being watched and not by the council. Someone - something else was watching him.
He shifted uncomfortably. The Force was trying to warn him but something about it felt strange.Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Asajj Ventress vs. Anakin & Obi-Wan [1080p]
The warning was so vague, he couldn't quite understand it. He stared aimlessly out the window at the skyline in the distance. Occasionally he caught a shadow moving out of the corner of his eye but if he moved to see what it was, it was gone. He then suddenly realised that the room had gone silent and quickly snapped his attention back to the council members who were all staring at him.
His cheeks flushed scarlet and he noticed that Qui-Gon was staring at him as well. Obi-Wan swallowed hard and then bowed low.
I let my mind drift.
Anakin's life is shaken up when he finds a small togrutan toddler hiding in a dingy alleyway, after all, she did create a Force bond with him and is apparently his future Padawan.

It was supposed to be an easy mission. Still reeling from the recent loss of one of their own, the New Order now has to deal with a new threat, one that has put a good man in the medical bay and is holding two more as collateral until he gets what he wants; Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Do not read if this triggers or offends you. You have been warned. Obi-wan and Qui-gon find young Anakin on Tatooine. Qui-gon is set on training him at all costs. Obi-wan doesn't know how to feel. He should be ready to let Cody go.
